The timing couldn’t be worse. California is already reeling from violent protests in Los Angeles tied to clashes between immigration officials and demonstrators. With over 70 arrests and significant property damage reported, tensions remain high. Governor Newsom, caught in a bitter legal standoff with President Donald Trump over the federal deployment of National Guard troops, now finds himself blindsided by Brown’s baseless outburst.

Newsom hasn’t responded to the comment and likely won’t anytime soon. The governor is facing criticism over the handling of National Guard forces Trump sent into LA, reportedly without state coordination. “The first 2,000? Given no food or water,” Newsom wrote on X. “Only approx. 300 are deployed — the rest are sitting, unused, in federal buildings without orders.”

California’s Attorney General has since filed a federal lawsuit, accusing the White House of violating constitutional boundaries. “This isn’t about public safety. It’s about stroking a dangerous President’s ego,” Newsom said in another post.

Meanwhile, Brown’s social media behavior has taken a darker turn. Just weeks ago, he appeared in a viral video holding what looked like a firearm during a scuffle outside a Miami boxing match. His history includes allegations of domestic violence, unpaid child support, and repeated brushes with the law.

Brown’s recent comments haven’t just drawn attention, they’ve reignited concerns over his mental health. As one user put it bluntly, “You should focus on raising your kids instead of trolling.” Brown’s sarcastic reply: “Thanks for the advice dude.”

Once celebrated for his athleticism, Brown now trends for all the wrong reasons—and this latest episode only deepens the concern surrounding his downward spiral.
