After my mother-in-law left, our dog continued to snarl and scratch the ground. I dug into the area where he was barking and discovered something terrible😱😱
The village where my spouse and I reside is serene and calm. I stay at home and take care of the house and garden while he works on a farm. To be honest, my mother-in-law and her younger son, who also lives in the city, have never gotten along. I wasn’t accepted by her right away. Constantly making caustic remarks or casting critical glances. But for my husband’s sake, I put up with it. We didn’t see her very much, so the distance also helped.

She recently came to stay with us for a week after abruptly stating that she wanted to “get away from the city hustle.” She said she missed us. Even though I felt uneasy about it, my spouse persisted.
She began critiquing everything I did from the first few days. She said that I was raising our 5-year-old daughter incorrectly, that the soup was excessively salty, and that the drapes were not ironed. She incited disputes all the time and even succeeded in causing a rift between my husband and me. I cried one night because I was so ready for it to be over.
I let out a sigh of relief when she eventually left. However, an odd thing began to happen the very following day.
Our dog, Bucks, who is the brightest and friendliest dog, started acting aggressively out of the blue. He ran in circles, snarled at the deserted garden, and began digging and growling as he scratched the ground next to one of the garden beds. He refused to listen when I tried to stop him. He simply looked at me and continued.
It went on the following day. I reached for a shovel because I could stand it no longer. I had a racing heart. A dog doesn’t growl and dig aimlessly. He was afraid of something. Where he was barking, I began to dig.
The ground then gave way. I went cold. Protruding from the ground was 😱😱

A black bag. tied up. As I took it out, my heart skipped a beat.
There was a foul stench and odd objects within, including hair clumps, an old child’s outfit (not my daughter’s!), a doll with a damaged head, and a bunch of pictures of my husband, me, and our daughter. Having the eyeballs removed by scratching.
A shiver went through my body. This was something supernatural, perhaps even a curse, I realized. Who was capable of doing it?
My mother-in-law was the only person who could respond. The only person who has visited our yard was her. The one person who could have buried it while our child or I were cooking.
I was at a loss for what to do. I took the bag to a place of worship. It was “a curse meant to destroy a family,” according to the priest.
I never thought such things were possible, but everything that transpired with our dog and my mother-in-law’s actions and words during her final days all came together to form one horrifying image.
I’ve prohibited her from ever entering our house again ever since. I told my hubby everything. He didn’t believe me at first, but after seeing the pictures and the bag I had saved as evidence, he changed his mind. He remained quiet for a while.
Since then, our dog has only slept by the door, seemingly protecting us.
I’m not sure what my mother-in-law had in mind, but I do know that she will never again set foot in our house.
Do you believe I’m exaggerating this? What else might it be?
