Eric Trump boldly makes statement about “great respect” for Don Jr.’s fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle – amid rumors the clan doesn’t like her as Ivanka makes first strong move that shocks everyone

Eric Trump has responded to allegations that the Trump family disapproves of Don Jr.’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, especially after Ivanka skipped their holiday party just weeks after omitting her future sister-in-law from an Instagram photo.

Recently, Don Jr., 44, and Kimberly, 53, hosted a holiday fundraiser for the charity Toys For Tots at their $9.7 million mansion in Palm Beach, which was attended by over 300 guests and featured a DJ set by Kid Rock.

Eric attended the event with his wife, Lara, while Donald Trump made a brief appearance for about 30 minutes before heading to another engagement. Ivanka and her husband Jared, although invited, did not attend due to it being Shabbos, the Jewish Sabbath.

A source shared with Page Six that “the vibe is that the family doesn’t like Kim. She is trying too hard to fit in.”

However, Eric defended Kimberly, stating, “I completely disagree with that narrative and think very highly of Kimberly. I’m best friends with Don and had an absolute blast at the party.”

Eric Trump has hit back at claims the Trumps don't like Don Jr.'s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle - after Ivanka skipped the couple's holiday party weeks after cropping her soon-to-be sister-in-law from a photo on Instagram. 'I completely disagree with the narrative and happen to think the world of Kimberly,' said Eric (pictured with his wife Lara).

A source added, “They have a good relationship. It’s just the rumor mill.”

Speculation about Guilfoyle’s unpopularity within the Trump family began when Ivanka cropped her out of an Instagram photo taken at Tiffany Trump’s wedding. Tiffany, 29, married Michael Boulos, 25, at the family’s Mar-a-Lago Club on November 12 in Palm Beach, Florida.

In the Instagram photo, Ivanka removed Kimberly from the lineup of Trump women posing with the bride, sparking a wave of rumors about family dynamics. Ivanka later acknowledged her mistake by posting the original photo, which included her, stepmother Melania, Tiffany, mother Marla Maples, and sister-in-law Lara, all in pastel colors, with Kimberly in black at the end.

Ivanka did not delete the initial post or story. Instead, she shared the original photo on her Instagram stories four hours later, followed by clips of her father giving her golf lessons.

When Melania Trump’s former aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, heard about the cropping incident, she told Page Six that the Trump family was “a heartless, mean-spirited, and divided family … that doesn’t care about one another or anyone else.”

During the evening’s festivities, Don Jr. took to Instagram to share videos of Kid Rock entertaining the guests. The footage quickly went viral, circulating on YouTube and various social media platforms. Commenters humorously noted that it looked like Kid Rock was “struggling to figure out the DJ equipment.”

At one point in the video, Don Jr. can be heard saying to the camera, “Kid Rock taking over the DJ booth, folks,” as Al Green’s classic song “Let’s Stay Together” from the 1970s plays in the background.

While it’s unclear how long Don Jr. and Kid Rock have been friends, the Detroit rapper hosted a campaign rally in Michigan during Trump’s 2020 presidential run. At that event, Don Jr. was present at the “Make America Great Again” rally alongside his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Don Jr. captured moments of Kid Rock having difficulty DJing at his Christmas party.

A former prosecuting attorney and Fox News host, 53-year-old Kimberly Guilfoyle became an adviser to the 45th President of the United States during his administration.

Don Jr., who serves as the executive vice president of the Trump Organization alongside his brother Eric, began dating Guilfoyle in 2018, and the couple got engaged in 2020.

They reside in Florida, just 80 miles from Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner. Ivanka and Kushner are currently building a home in Indian Creek near Miami, while Don Jr. and Guilfoyle purchased a $9.7 million house in Jupiter, located north of West Palm Beach.

**REPOST:** Ivanka addressed her “terrible mistake” of cropping Kimberly Guilfoyle out of her Instagram gallery by posting a story featuring the full lineup four hours later, accompanied by a series of heart emojis.

Guilfoyle and Don Jr. are actively involved in the campaign scene, believed to be encouraging Trump to pursue a second term. Meanwhile, Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are reportedly stepping back from Washington, D.C., with no plans to return to the White House if Trump runs again and wins.

Guilfoyle was previously married to California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, filing for divorce in January 2005. She cited the challenges of a bi-coastal relationship as a strain on their marriage after relocating to New York City in 2004 to work in broadcast television, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Newsom revealed in a September 2022 interview with People that he and Guilfoyle no longer communicate.

In May 2006, Guilfoyle married furniture heir Eric Villency, who hails from a multi-million dollar company founded by his grandfather, Scottish-born furniture titan Maurice Villency. The couple welcomed a son, Ronan Anthony, on October 4, 2006, but divorced in 2009.

Don Jr. was married to model Vanessa Haydon in 2005, and they share five children. Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host, served as a senior Trump campaign advisor and fundraiser, and she and Don Jr. evolved into a prominent GOP power couple.

In 2021, the couple purchased an 11,300-square-foot estate in Jupiter, Florida, for $9.7 million, located about a 20-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago. They publicly announced their engagement in January 2022.
